COVID Intensive Learning Support Program
The NSW government is committed to ensuring that every student's learning is on track after the disruptions experienced in 2020. To achieve this, NSW schools are recruiting up to 5,500 educators to deliver small-group tuition programs to students experiencing the greatest need.
Commencing in Term 1, 2021, the program will be delivered within primary, secondary and specialist NSW government and non-government schools across the school year.
All current permanent, temporary and casual teachers are encouraged to apply. Applications are also welcomed from university academics, post-graduate university students with appropriate qualifications, pre-service teachers and teachers who are retired or on-leave.
Please note: All applicants must have, or be willing to undertake, a Working With Children Check (WWCC) clearance through the NSW Office of the Children’s Guardian. A valid NSW WWCC is a requirement for employment in child-related roles in NSW schools.
To submit an application, select the pathway most relevant to you:
- Educators with existing approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education
- Educators with teaching accreditation but without existing approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education
- Educators without teaching accreditation
