Application process for graduates seeking employment as a teacher in schools with significant Aboriginal student enrolments
First you need to complete your application for employment through the 2010 Graduate Recruitment Program and indicate on this form your interest in teaching in schools with significant Aboriginal enrolments.
You then need to address five suitability criteria for employment as a teacher in a school with significant Aboriginal enrolments. The suitability criteria should be prepared from the Microsoft Word template provided. Your suitability criteria should not exceed two pages. Please read the guidelines before completing the suitability criteria.

You will need to bring your eligibility statement and your suitability criteria statement to the interview. This is in addition to the supporting statement you complete for the 2010 Graduate Recruitment Program.
You will be considered for employment in schools with significant Aboriginal enrolments in the preference areas nominated on your 2010 Graduate Recruitment Program application form. A list of areas in which schools with significant Aboriginal enrolments are located is provided below. You need to check that you have nominated such areas on your 2010 Graduate Recruitment Program application form.
